Primer TLI

TLI 2018 malaga

El pasado sábado 7 de julio, 8 clubes Toastmasters International de Andalucía, pudimos disfrutar de una jornada de formación muy productiva y amena en La Noria, Centro de Innovación Social de Málaga, con picnic incluido. ¡Nuestro primer TLI (Toastmasters Leadership Institute)! El primero de muchos que quedan por venir.

Pudimos conocer más acerca de Pathways, nuestro prometedor y recién estrenado sistema de aprendizaje en Toastmasters y sobre Easy Speak (herramienta de gestión para organizar nuestras sesiones) de la mano de Isabelle Steiner (que no solo es nuestra VP Educación en Toastmasters Sevilla sino también nuestra Directora de Área).

Por mi parte ejercí como Toastmasters del día, experiencia fantástica  que te permite  salir de tu zona de confort ya que habitualmente realizo este rol  pero dentro de mi club.

Estas jornadas TLI se desarrollan en español e inglés. ¡Así que es una grandísima oportunidad para  practicar otro idioma!.

Compartir momentos como estos con compañeros de nuestro club como Alfonso Garrido, Rafael León, Antonio José Caballero y con los de otros clubes sirven para potenciar nuestros lazos.

A estas sesiones formativas pueden acudir tantos socios como no socios. ¡Todos sois bienvenidos!.

Extraordinary English session in Fundación Valentín de Madariaga y Oya

This year Toastmasters Sevilla organises a number of events for the benefit of all Toastmasters. These events are also available for visitors instead of non-toastmasters. Our club will hold a special meeting on 18 February 2015 to help English speakers to gain confidence in public speaking and leadership skills.  Members learn by participating in a friendly, fun, and supportive learning environment. Many of them have experienced real personal growth, which affects every aspect of their lives.

Please join the Toastmasters Sevilla sessions to take opportunity to improve yourself and help you in your endeavour!

This is a very special meeting where we’ll learn how to motivate ourselves and others to set and plan our goals in a way that we can easily achieve them. You are cordially invited to attend our next special meeting. Members and guests are all welcome.

BLACK FOREST TOASTMASTERS OF BRUSSELS

Hello all,
In Brussels, I recently had the opportunity to visit BLACK FOREST TOASTMASTERS, a German-English bilingual club funded in 2006.

 

I want to thank all the Black Forest Toastmasters´ members their welcome; THANK YOU! I felt part of the group. It was great fun to participate in improvisations and a big challenge to accept the grammarian role.
 
 
For those who still do not know it, I should mention that it is possible to visit the clubs within the Toastmasters International network and participate in their meetings. It is an enriching experience and a great way to meet people from other cities or countries who share the interest in improving communication and leadership skills.
Another aspect that called my attention was the fact that their meetings are bilingual German-English. They use both languages to an equal degree. Each participant chooses the language to communicate. It is a great fun as well as a good exercise to improve the English or German practice.
I enjoyed the experience and I want to visit them again next time I go to Brussels.

Sesión 15 enero en Fundación Madariaga


Estimados amigos/as de Toastmasters:
La sesión en inglés del miércoles 15 de enero de 2014 será extraordinaria. Hemos sido invitados por IBS SPAIN y la Fundación Valentín de Madariaga para desarrollarla en el antiguo Pabellón de EEUU. No solo es magnífico el emplazamiento, sino que tendremos la oportunidad de contar con la presencia de los alumnos del Master Marketing Intelligence for management 3.0 de IBS SPAIN. Por ello, el café al que estamos invitados a las 18:00 será una excelente oportunidad de hacer networking y de entrar en calor antes de que la presidenta de nuestro club abra la sesión a las 18:30.
 
Desde aquí quiero agradecer a Peter Gaztanaga su amabilidad al invitarnos. 
Estamos convencidos de que va a ser una sesión muy interesante. ¡Os esperamos!
